In a challenging case at the Suffolk Superior Court, John Doe was accused of causing serious bodily injury, resulting in permanent brain damage to a victim. Mr. Doe faced up to five years in state prison. This very difficult situation for Mr. Doe was met with the formidable expertise of Veronica White and her firm of White & Associates (WAA). The prosecution moved to admit hearsay statements of a witness under the theory that the defendant had committed a forfeiture by wrongdoing.

The prosecution chose not to appeal the Court’s decision and instead nolle prossed all charges against the defendant.
