No Violation in Probation Surrender

stabbing

John Doe was arrested and faced five years state prison for having allegedly committed a stabbing while on probation for a drug offense. The Suffolk County Probation Department tried to revoke Mr Doe’s probation because of the new charges.

Attorney Veronica White of White & Associates P.C. conducted a vigorous defense of Mr Doe which resulted in the Court prohibiting the Probation Department from using any evidence from the investigation into the stabbing. Attorney White then conducted a withering cross examination of Mr Doe’s probation officer on the supposed technical violations of Mr Doe’s probation. Following the cross examination, the Court found that there was no evidence to prove that a violation of probation took place.
