John Doe was charged with a second and subsequent distribution of cocaine. The buyer was allegedly a confidential informant working for the police.
As part of her defense strategy, Attorney Veronica White of White & Associates P.C. filed a motion to disclose the name of the confidential informant based on the fact that he was a percipient witness to this alleged distribution.
The District Attorney did not want to give up the informant and dismissed this charge against Mr Doe. The District Attorney further agreed to return Mr Doe’s impounded car and phone which had been subject to civil forfeiture.
