Case Dismissed: Possession of Counterfeit Money

Jane Doe was charged with possession of counterfeit money and larceny under after she was identified using counterfeit bills. She was charged in the Dorchester District Court.

Attorney Veronica J White filed many motions on Ms Doe’s behalf, including a discovery request to obtain identification procedures from the Commonwealth. When the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office failed to provide the ordered discovery, Attorney White asked the court to dismiss the case.

The district attorney moved to dismiss the charges with a minimal payment of restitution, and Ms Doe agreed. The judge dismissed the case and Ms Doe was free to go.
